Services

Four things we do, alone or together

Your acupuncturist tells you what they plan before they begin, and you can say no to any of it.

  • Acupuncture

Fine, single-use needles at points chosen after you talk. A first visit takes about 75 minutes.

    About acupuncture
  • Herbal formulas

A mix of herbs written for you and filled in our dispensary, with a list of every herb in the bag.

    About herbal formulas
  • Cupping

Warm glass cups set on the back or shoulders for a few minutes.

    About cupping
  • Moxibustion

Gentle warmth from burning mugwort, held near the skin and never on it.

Questions people ask before they choose

  • Do I have to have needles?

No. You can come for herbs alone, or for cupping or moxibustion without needles.

  • Can I come only for herbs?

Yes. Your acupuncturist still talks with you first, so the formula fits you.

  • What do I do about my medicines?

Bring a list. Tell your prescriber about everything you take, herbs included.

  • Will I get everything on this list?

Not always. Anything here may be left out of your visit, and your acupuncturist may suggest something else.
